EPDM

EPDM is a material composed of Ethylene, Propylene and high quality Diene.The name comes from the initials of these materials to which is added the letter M to indicate that it has a saturated chain of propylene according to the ASTM classification. At Fairmont Polymers Resources we are specialists in the manufacture and distribution of this material commonly known as rubber.


EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene rubber) is a product with excellent resistance to the effects of friction, abrasion and weathering. It is made of sponge EPDM or EPDM solid rubber in Monterrey at our plant located in the Industrial Zone of Nuevo León, excellent resistance to ozone, to being exposed to the elements and saline environments. can resist continuous temperatures up to 120°C, also recommended in applications containing solvents diluted as alcohols or ethers. The EPDM sponge soleplate also resists bad weather and has excellent resistance.
